With a heart for discipleship and outreach, Pastor Adams is passionate about leading souls to Christ and equipping them to serve within the local church and beyond. His dynamic preaching and teaching challenge mindsets, strengthen faith, and encourage believers to live out the gospel in their daily lives.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Adams actively engages in community service, advocating for those in need and fostering partnerships that uplift individuals and families. He serves as the Vice Moderator of the Christian Fellowship Association and is the President of the Neighborhood Churches Alliance (NCA). His commitment to social impact extends through his work with the Coalition of Prison Ministry and as a member of the Neighborhood Church Alliance, where he collaborates with faith leaders to serve incarcerated individuals, returning citizens, and their families.
Pastor Adams’ leadership was instrumental in guiding the church through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. He ensured that the church remained open and accessible, providing both in-person and virtual worship opportunities. Under his leadership, the church experienced post-pandemic growth, expanding its membership beyond state lines and reaching a broader community through innovative outreach and digital ministry.
Since joining the church in 2014, Pastor Adams has led with vision and faith. In just two years, he spearheaded a successful six-figure capital campaign, allowing the church to relocate its administrative offices and weekly services to a new 6,000-square-foot sanctuary—a testament to his ability to rally the congregation toward a shared mission.
In 2025, Pastor Adams is once again leading the church in a bold new endeavor: the addition of a 5,000-square-foot fellowship hall to expand the church’s two-property campus. This initiative reflects his unwavering commitment to fostering community, enhancing ministry opportunities, and ensuring the church remains a beacon of hope and service for generations to come.
Under his leadership, the church has experienced significant growth in male participation and the expansion of ministry and leadership teams. His focus on discipleship, mentorship, and leadership development has strengthened the church’s foundation, ensuring a legacy of faith-driven leadership. College Park continues to be a model for neighboring churches in the community, demonstrating what it means to thrive in faith, service, and outreach.
His dedication to ministry and service has earned him significant recognition. He is the recipient of the 2021 TDCJ Carol S. Vance Volunteer of the Criminal Justice Volunteer Service Award and the 2021 State of Texas Governor’s Criminal Justice Volunteer Service Award – Volunteer of the Year, presented by The Honorable Greg Abbott. These honors reflect his unwavering commitment to restorative justice and transforming lives through faith.
He is a devoted husband to First Lady Teresa Adams, a loving father to his two sons, Carver Adams Jr. and Anthony Adams, and a proud grandfather to three granddaughters. At College Park, he is cherished as a spiritual father to many—leading with wisdom, compassion, and an unshakable faith in God’s plan.
